Earthbound Guest House

A lot of thought and heart has gone into making the Earthbound Guesthouse a great place to stay! A truly eclectic, personal touch in each room/area - a whole lot of care and attention has been given to every little detail 👌🏼 We thoroughly recommend staying Marie very kindly helped us out with my wife's father (a senior 80+). She even kindly upgraded us so we could have rooms next to each... and so he had level access Marie you really went above and beyond for us, thank you! The place is very, very clean - we slept well! We had the place to ourselves, so it was exceptionally quiet! Beautiful pool to cool off in!

The outside does not tell you just what an oasis lies behind the gates! We had room 4 which has the most gorgeous private courtyard with sun beds, chairs and table. To sit out first thing with a cup of tea listening to the birds was magical. All the garden walkways are gorgeous as is the pool area. The outside breakfasts are a joy served by the most delightful staff. They even brought a muffin and candle and sang happy birthday to my husband. Maree made two dinner bookings for us which were both superb. She and all her staff are fabulous and I really cannot rate Earthbound too highly. Please go!

A very quiet area with secure parking. A beautifully appointed room with a very comfortable bed. A large bathroom with a walk in shower. Extra touches such as bath robes, a sherry night cap and chocolates on the bed. The breakfast was excellent; juice, pancake with banana and honey followed by a hot breakfast of bacon, sausage, eggs (cooked however you like), toast, coffee and a muffin.

Really comfortable stay, lots of little touches that show great care. The bed and linens were snug, good water pressure and hot water, delicious and generous breakfast and peaceful location, a 2min drive to Main Street/petrol station and supermarket. Gardens and outside fire were nice touches too.

Fabulous stay! Earthbound Guest House is an absolutely amazing place to stay in Oudtshoorn. Staff and owner are extremely kind and helpful, paying attention to every last bit and piece that might make your stay as wonderful as possible. They helped to calm mit nerves before we got there, helped us booking tours while we were there, and even ordered our pizza for us. The place itself is newly renovated, is carefully equipped and decorated, and breakfast is amazing- I would live there if I could. ♥️ Thank you for these wonderful days in Oudtshoorn, which- by the way- I enjoyed more than the hip places at the coast. Keep working like you do- others should follow your example!
